Special Deck Strategy
Dragon Ambush Deck
This powerful deck uses Magia Skills to summon and enhance Dragons. This deck rewards patience and summoning multiple creatures at once where possible.
You’ll want your initial hand to include both Heart and Spade creatures. Summon a Heart creature first, then use the Dragon Fusion Magia Skill to save on Magia Points when setting further creatures. The enhancing effect of Pythia the Resplendent makes it a key part of this deck, so be sure to summon it at the same time as at least one other creature. Mix Spade and Heart creatures to gain access to the Draconic Pact Magia Skill.
If your opponent manages to summon multiple creatures, fight back with this deck’s rich selection of magic cards and Endless Blue Dragon Caller, Sonia. Zeta’s Defense stat may be 0, but that also makes it easier for him to recover MP when attacked, helping you set up devastating counterattacks. Be sure to make the most of your precious Gaia’s Wrath and Deucalion’s Deluge magic cards.
When you need to deal massive damage to your opponent, Pythia the Resplendent along with Endless Blue Dragon Caller, Sonia or Asclepius's Miracle and the Draconic Pact Magia Skill are key. Use Pythia the Resplendent to enhance Dragon creatures, and either summon Sonia or resurrect another creature with Asclepius’s Miracle, then finally use Draconic Pact to strengthen your allies even further. If all these elements are in place, you’ll be ready to unleash a devastating attack. Remember that the opposing Gifted’s Defense is deducted from each attack, so if you have three Dragons summoned it’s better to pay a little extra and use Draconic Pact instead of Bloody Blow. Also note that Asclepius's Miracle will have no effect if your graveyard cards have been obliterated by Violent Dragonbound, No.6.
While this deck makes it easy to quickly summon creatures, there is a risk of running out of cards in your hand. Try to maintain control of the board by summoning creatures after your opponent or using The Golden Apple to force-summon and eliminate enemy creatures.
Tips for dealing with other decks:
・Vs. Myr
Myr’s deck has several Rush creatures, so even if she doesn’t have anything on the field, summoning your creatures one at a time will leave them vulnerable to attack. Try to be patient, save up MP, and summon creatures three at a time.
・Vs. Elena
Elena’s Wake Up Magia Skill can force-summon your creatures and leave them vulnerable to attack, so it’s important to summon two or more creatures at once. The Deucalion’s Deluge magic card can be effective in wiping out her creatures, and you can also use either it or the Gaia’s Wrath magic card to deal with creatures protected by the Veil of Darkness Magia Skill’s Stealth effect.
・Vs. Leo
If Leo manages to summon multiple Undead creatures, your set creatures will become vulnerable to the Assassinate Magia Skill. Make wiping out enemy Undead a priority. If you find yourself troubled by an enemy Karkinos the Demonic Crab’s Stealth, try using the Deucalion’s Deluge or Gaia’s Wrath magic cards.
